As soon as the fire was noticed, rescue emergency teams, consisting of firefighters and emergency response teams, moved into action. Rescues were difficult due to thick smoke and smoldering fire, but firemen used all means necessary to lead individuals out of the cramped area. Ambulances and other rescue units promptly moved in to provide first aid to the injured. Stranded fans congregated nearby, eagerly awaiting as the rescue operation progressed.
After enormous efforts on the part of the fire brigade, the fire was ultimately controlled. However, according to reports, there were still some individuals trapped inside and rescue operations were being conducted to bring them out safely. The authorities are also considering what could have led to the fire and steps to be followed in maintaining safety so that an experience of this sort is not had again in the future is under contemplation.
This tragic crash stunned the city, and it indicates that additional fire protective means are necessary for high-rise structures.
